About Diversity Employers/THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine

Background
Diversity Employers Magazine is the successor to -- and incorporates elements of -- THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine. Established in 1970, THE BLACK COLLEGIAN grew and developed into an award-winning magazine that is highly regarded by career counselors, career service directors and the entire university community. It was the fifth oldest African-American magazine in America. THE BLACK COLLEGIAN was transformed and expanded into Diversity Employers Magazine in 2011.

… we know that our relationship with THE BLACK COLLEGIAN has been instrumental in helping us recruit and retain African Americans as employees and customers. It is a long-term relationship that we appreciate and value.

My first modeling job was for a magazine called Black Collegiate. I was so excited because there was this little picture of me on the cover over the title.
