We started on campus in 1970 with THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine, when
employers were first starting to build minority recruiting programs and affirmative actions
plans in response to federal legislation. Since then, we've expanded our connection to our
audience through the Internet, first in 1995 with THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Online (www.blackcollegian.com),
the first minority magazine with a Website, the leading career site for students of color,
and then in 1997 with IMDiversity.com, the companion site for experienced multicultural
professionals.
Our nearly 40 years of experience is more than just a number. It represents
the time and effort we've invested in understanding the needs, concerns and desires of
underrepresented minorities. The trust and loyalty earned did not happen overnight.
